My client is a leading Resorts and Game Reserve Group, and they are looking for a Risk Management Officer for a 6-month fixed term contract at their head-office in Hillcrest.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main job function
To play a role to minimize and mitigate the risk exposure, safeguard the assets, and ensure compliance and the best practice by being acquainted with the risk management culture of the whole organization
Technical and Functional Competencies
Sound computer literacy skills (MS Office)
Understanding of relevant legislation, international standards, and best practice guidelines
Working knowledge of ISO31000 risk management principles and ability to give illustrations and applications
Ability to implement the integrated risk management framework for the organisation
Ability to implement the Business Continuity programme for the organisation
Experience in the development of the risk policies and risk register
Ability to monitor organisational change in relation to potential risk
Basic financial management skills

Qualifications
Three-year Diploma in Risk management or Equivalent Relevant qualification
Unendorsed Code 08 / B Driver’s License
Working Knowledge of ERM systems e.g., SAP Risk Module
Eligibility to register with the IRMSA
Experience/Criteria
3 years’ relevant experience in risk management environment
1 year Practical exposure in conducting organisational risk assessments
