Senior Manager: Informatics
Our client in the banking Sector is looking for a Senior Manager focusing on Informatics that has the ability to determine long term directions, industry trends, and how they relate to the organizational needs of data assets.
Matric, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 20+ years’ experience in Information Technology across various disciplines
15 years Information Technology experience in Data Architecture and/or Warehousing of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
Data Architecture for structure and unstructured data
Regulations impacting data, i.e. BCBS239, POPI
Ability to liaise across all levels of Management
Project and value driven
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the following:
Key Result Areas
Manage team to deliver data solutions as per the business requirements
Manage team KRAs
Perform Performance assessment
Business Relationship management
Create and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients by providing advice and assistance
Keep the client informed about progress through written communication, telephone communications and/or face to face meetings
Build a positive image by exceeding client expectations at all times
Treat internal and external customers fairly at all times
Accountable for the delivery of the Data Architecture (Conceptual, Logical and Physical)
Accountable to manage the team to deliver the data ingestion and consumption patterns, both batch and near real-time (ETL, ELT, services, etc.)
Accountable to manage the delivery of the Warehouse aligned to the approved Architecture
Accountable to manage the team to deliver integration solutions on all
Accountable to manage the team to deliver integration solutions on all data consumption aligned to the approved patterns
Accountable to ensure all Architectures, designs and delivery are in conformance to the relevant regulations and laws
Accountable to guide the team to create and maintain and Enterprise Data model
