Sales Engineer in Pneumatic Automation and Instrumentation to grow into Business Manager role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a company's operations and employees, including expanding the team with new hires.
Familiarising yourself with technical product specifications and keeping up to date with new company products as well as industry trends.
Attending conferences, trade exhibitions, seminars, and workshops to improve your skills and knowledge.
Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products.
Writing reports and liaising with the team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.
Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
Updating orders and sales and negotiating the best sales terms.
Listening to customers’ needs and advising the sales team accordingly.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma or Degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical/electronic Engineering and/or business management with relevant experience.
5 years’ experience in technical sales related to electro-pneumatic automation.
Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational, research, and multitasking abilities.
Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
Package & Remuneration
R40 to R60k plus commission/profit share
