Job Description:
A large retail concern in Namibia is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirement:
Namibian citizen
Retail industry experience (min 3 years) - preferred Food Retail
Matric
Relevant post Matric Certificate
Duties:
To maintain and reconcile the Creditors Ledger, Cashbook entries, EFT payments for C.O.D’S and other.
Manages creditors/suppliers invoices, reconciliation of creditors, statements and preparation of payments remittance advice of monies due.
Liaising with customers ensuring customers pay on a timely basis
Obtaining remits for allocations of customer receipts
Setting up new customers and assessing credit terms
Producing weekly debtor reports and presenting to management
Forecasting customer receipts on a rolling 8-week basis
Completing monthly bank reconciliations
Posting purchase invoices on system
