Company builds and operates fibre optic networks using a new innovative infrastructure deployment method. They are one of SA’s largest providers of Open Access telecommunications infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership for the organisation.
Manage operational function including finance and supply chain
Ensure effective and professional accounting, reporting and control of funding
Oversee budgets to ensure the sustainability of the company’s financial situation
Desired Experience & Qualification
CA (SA), B.Com. Honours, MBA or MBL
Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Senior Management level
Experience in telecommunications/construction environment is desirable.
Experience with funding initiatives
Practical knowledge of auditing environment advantageous
Expert knowledge of all financial and tax legislation
Knowledge of supply chain management framework
Successful track record of leadership and team work
Ability to inspire and motivate others
Problem solving and analytical abilities to make fast and effective decisions that look towards the future of the company.
General knowledge of economic, political and social environment
Leadership skills and Strategic Vision – must take initiative and be proactive.
Complete financial understanding in order to supervise financial function.
Reliability in high-pressure situations
