The Chevrah Kadisha is the oldest Jewish organisation in Johannesburg and the largest Jewish welfare organisation on the African continent.
Established in 1888, during Johannesburg's pioneer gold rush years, it has been taking care of the welfare and burial needs of the community ever since. From inception it provided a paternal, protective and unifying influence and accepted the leadership role in developing the community.
Through the vision of communal leadership, the Chevrah Kadisha has consolidated multiple welfare organizations under its umbrella. This has enabled economies of scale, a professional management infrastructure and an holistic approach to meeting the community’s needs. All support services are managed centrally including fundraising, finance, and operations. This infrastructure enables the General Manager of each of the organizations to focus on caring for the needs of their residents.
The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for the facilitation of teaching and learning of the theoretical and clinical component in a clinical environment to reinforce the learning process as well as the integration of theory and practice to reinforce the learning process.
The incumbent will further provide up-to-date nursing education, evaluation and support to staff in the clinical facilities. The incumbent is also responsible for establishing partnerships between the clinical teams to ensure continuous development and improvement of theoretical and clinical nursing skills, nursing standards and general nursing care
Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience working in a nursing unit
Knowledge of geriatric care - preferable
Experience in working with clients with disabilities and/or mental health - preferable
Must be registered with SANC as a registered Nurse
Must have prior training experience and knowledge of Adult Learning principles
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Valid SA driver’s license and own car are essential requirements
