Job Description:
My client is well established retailer, has a vacancy at their Head Office for a Financial Manager with a relevant degree and min 5 years experience in a management position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include:
Full financial function for the Cape
Coach and management of administrators
Ensure resolution of debtor/creditor/general ledger queries
Assist in preparation of budget files
Analyses current year vs past performance
Audit policies and procedures
Oversee store compliance via checklist from Head Office
Oversee the full Financial Reporting functions
Prepare financial reports
Interpret financial reports (income statement)
Review and respond to internal audit reports
Review and capture petty cash
Clear and validate internal account entries
Assist with Stock take and stock take results
Requirements:
Min Grade 12
A relevant degree or diploma will count in your favor
Computer Literate (Excel including Vlookups and Pivot tables and Powerpoint)
Working knowledge of Sage X3 and Sage X3 payroll and leave system (ESS)
