Executive: Corporate and Digital Strategy (5 year fixed term contract)
Lead the overall digital transformation, adoption of digital technologies architecture and digital customer experiences across the business.
To lead the formulation, communication and execution of the corporate and digital strategy that aligns to the objectives of the shareholder and government priorities.
Drive digital transformation throughout SITA and government business;
Provide Executive oversight for ICT research and innovation;
Oversee the definition and implementation of digital marketing and communication strategies;
Oversee a digitally enabled enterprise programme management across the business;
Financial and business management; and
Human capital management.
Oversee the overall corporate digital marketing, communication and enterprise program management.
Degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent (NQF Level 7 and Credits), Honours or Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
8+ years of professional experience which includes strategy development, digital transformation, innovation, digital marketing, business development, management consulting and stakeholder management, ideally with exposure in both public and private sector,
At least 3 + years working experience at an Executive Management level and managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders,
5+ years of experience in information-intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises, Experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation, Strategy and management consulting experience desirable.
Knowledge of Customer experience, Collaboration, Communication and influencing, Planning and Organizing, Creative Problem Solving, Bimodal IT Practice, responding to Change and pressure, Strategic Thinking, Service excellence, Networking.
Ability to develop strategic business relationships and become a trusted thought partner to clients.
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and professionalism.
A core strength in people management, team management and project management.
Experience in managing, monitoring and reviewing complex operational service delivery and a programme of ICT projects.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders. and
Ability to interact at the Board level.
