REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant tertiary qualifications that include BCom or Industrial Engineering
MBA will be advantageous
8-10 years’ experience in an executive management role with extensive operational knowledge and sound commercial acumen

DUTIES:
Develop and implement strategic, business and operational plans that reflect the long term goals and priorities, as set by the Group CEO
Drive and control strategic and operational budgets, goals and standards
Manage the profitable growth of the company to sustain growth
Attract new clients and remain relevant to the service needs of the target market
Ensure that operational and financial internal controls are adequate and driving the overall corporate governance framework
Assess all critical organisational risks and ensure that these risks are effectively monitored and managed
Ongoing maintenance of dialogue with the Group CEO to ensure that he is able to adequately make well considered and informed decisions
Take remedial action where necessary and providing early notification of significant changes with the business to the Group CEO
Manage change and drive a constructive organisational culture
The effective management of the senior management team
The effective management of strategic partnerships and alliances with stakeholders in the industry such as the shareholders, suppliers and customers
Act as company representative, together with the Group CEO, at professional bodies in the industry
Be an active and positive contributor to the executive leadership team
