Job Description:
Our client based in Lubumbashi, Katanga, DRC, Congo, currently have a contract opportunity for a Chinese National who is fluent in both Mandarin and English for a Business Development Specialist opportunity. Our client provides logistics services in Africa and are looking for a dynamic and adventurous problem solver to work with their mining clients in Democratic Republic of Congo wtih periodic travel to China.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary focus will be to liaise with existing clients with regard to issues that arise on-site and to develop any new relationships where possible.
To ensure that the Organisation wins as much work and maximizes profitability as much as possible
Synthesize information from potential clients, other contractors, operations teams, sales teams, and other key stakeholders in order to determine market rates and key targets on a twice-monthly basis.
Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and position the company to win key tenders
Ensure that accurate and timely quotations are submitted whenever possible
Maintain a competitor analysis to assist strategically
Develop pricing models and strategies which will position the Organisation up as the market leader in the DRC
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline
Fluent in Mandarin (essential) & English (intermediate)
Strong business development and relationship building background
