What we are looking for in a nutshell:
Our client is looking for a Human Capital (HC) Manager at our Head Office. The Human Capital Manager is a member of the College Leadership Team within the organisation and has an institutional role. This exciting role will be working in a fast paced environment. The Human Capital Manager will be responsible and accountable for the management and leveraging of human resource information and systems (HRIS) solutions in support of the strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for effective and efficient delivery of all Human Resource (HR) functions for the institution by, monitoring, implementing and managing the below KPIs:
Executing strategic initiatives for the HC department and the College,
Oversee administration with the assistance of the HC Administrator,
Build a strong team spirit, which displays the Institution’s core values amongst staff and/or suppliers and all other stakeholders,
Provide an analysis of the current HR policies and procedures, risk exposure of the organisation, and provide advice to align HR policies and processes to best practices,
Manage the full spectrum of statutory compliance (BBBEE, WSP/ATR, EEA)
Remuneration and Payroll/ HR data management,
Staff Recruitment, Appointments and On-boarding,
Effective people management and motivational skills,
Management of skills development of staff (Internal and External training initiatives),
Provide training and guidance to the MD, and leadership teams to improve the provision of HR services,
Sound track record of effective negotiation and consultation skills, in particular, be able to advise on the legal, reputational and financial implications. The position works in close partnership with the Human Capital Administrator in the fulfilment of duties and responsibilities and reports directly to the Managing Director.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources/Organisational Psychology
5 years’ senior management experience in Human Resources
3 years BBBEE management experience
2 years’ experience in Higher Education advantageous
Experience in innovative Human Resource concepts and best practises
Excellent working knowledge of labour regulations, rules and procedures
Excellent People Management
Package & Remuneration
R32000 to R35000.00 per month depending on experience
