Job Description:
A leading law firm in Cape Town is looking for an IP Associate, who can focus on Trademark Litigation and Prosecution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility include:
Trademark clearance searches and prosecution
Prosecution and enforcement of Intellectual Property (IP) rights
Commercial and transactional aspects relating to IP
Due diligence investigations
IP litigation
Counterfeit goods
Domain name disputes
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education and experience:
At least 2 years of in-depth IP experience gained within an IP team at a law firm
LLB degree, with an average of 70% for marks
Must be an admitted Attorney
IP certification would advantageous
