Learning & Development Manager
A leading Training provider based in Johannesburg is looking for a Learning & Development Manager. Minimum requirements of 5 Years relevant management experience and 5 years experience in a Learning and Development role.
To manage the Training Operations Team and ensure that all training logistics, data management and administration are performed for the smooth operation of the business.
Ensure that all training logistics, data management, conferencing and administration are carried out efficiently and accurately
Be responsible for ensuring that appropriate policies, procedures and standards are in place and adhered to by the team
Responsible for development and recruitment of staff within the operations team
Problem solve as necessary to address issues as they arrive paying due regard to supplier relationships, cost, speed, practicality, etc.
Interact with and service the requirements of various areas of the business congenially, smoothly and efficiently
Source and manage service providers while balancing quality, cost and efficiency
Management of staff to ensure high productivity, retention of performers and a conducive work environment. Performance management employed where necessary.
Informal and formal management reporting
Maintain highly organised systems accurately
Ensure that client focus is top of mind in all activities and that this culture is emphasized with team members
Minimum of 5 years management experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a learning & development role
Valid and unendorsed driver’s licence
Must be willing to travel within Gauteng as required from time to time
Must be willing to work additional hours (overtime) as required from time to time
15 Days annual leave:
The number of days which fall within the Christmas to New Year company closure period are taken as part of annual leave and the balance of annual leave can be taken during the year.
The company is on a medical aid scheme and contributes 50% (CTC)
