Well known Ingredients Company has a vacancy for a Technical Sales Executive who will market various products within a defined territory and to meet sales growth parameters laid down by budget and strategic plan.

Duties & Responsibilities
Identify new customers, develop and promote sales to them by presenting the range of products available.
Offer prompt, effective technical support to customers according to a call plan in order to maintain existing business and close customer contact, resolve customer queries or complaints and develop new markets.
Promote new products to both existing and potential customers.
Assist with customer product trials as needed.
Identify market needs which would complement our product basket.
Compile a detailed monthly report for the supervising Business Manager.
Achieve budgeted sales and margins as defined annually.
Obtain, record and update detailed information on the usage of products by customers.
Ensure that updated prices are communicated to customers.
Report on market activities and competitor activity to the Business Manager in accordance with the company’s Reporting Procedure.
Follow up bad debts under direction from Accounts department.
Set budgets and monthly forecast by product by customer.
Attend joint customer visits with suppliers.
Render technical assistance periodically if needed in the regions.
Share market and technical feedback.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 5 years recent technical sales experience of personal care/pharmaceutical/ingredients/raw materials.
Package & Remuneration
R 500 000 - R 600 000 CTC + Car Allowance
