Job Description:
Our client based in Johannesburg is looking for a Business Analyst to analyse and improve all IT systems including JDE by meeting the business requirements of the company. Co-ordinate and communicate with various stakeholders with regards to maintain JDE/ IT Systems business processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualification
College certificate / diploma.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in JDE.
5 years Systems analysis experience (Strong Analytical Skill essential).
Excellent knowledge of IT Systems Functional areas.
Good Communication Skills.
Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail. Teamwork skills
Written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal skills
Flexibility, Adaptability, Initiative
5+ Years’ experience.
Experience with JD Edwards.
Experience with various IT systems
Experience with BI Publisher/ BI Suite
Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing
Experience with liaising and coordinating requirements between business and systems
Project Management
Responsibilities
Maintain and upgrading existing system requirements as required
Designing new systems and frameworks
Assisting in Risk mitigation planning
Collaborating with Business, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
Creating or updating system guidelines and manuals for the organisation
Running training sessions and workshops on system processes
Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
Structuring and prioritising business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
Developing a clear understanding of all existing data requirements
Running specific analysis projects
Supporting initiatives to improve reporting quality
Working with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individuals project
Improving the quality of the products and services delivered by IT
Assisting with integration and acceptance testing
Supporting the development of training and implementation material
Providing support during and post implementation
Acting as a “translator” between the business and IT
Developing project plans and providing project management assistance
