Develop and deliver annual sales plans for each assigned key account in accordance with division sales objectives.
Develop annual sales budgets in line with the Company’s budgeting process and expectations.
Proactively direct and in conjunction with the Regional Sales Managers, Sales Associates and Agents to ensure that there is a process to measure results.
Ensure that Gauteng/Free State /Mpumalanga/North West and Limpopo Regions remain the key area of focus in conjunction with a strong ted line to the Regional Sales Managers Operations Inland Regions and to any other Regional Sales Manager/ Sales Associate that are affected by your actions and responsibilities.
Prioritize targeting efforts within the Convenience or Forecourt channel focusing on the listing and execution of priority product categories.
Establish/Reinforce relationship building practices with key accounts on the channel and regional sales managers by ensuring that new products are listed, new products are introduced, marketing and promotional programs are put in place, pricing is updated and correct service levels are optimized, stock rotation is applied and compliant process is handled timeously, training programs are in place, continuously and actively investigating new opportunities with regard to product and marketing.
Ensure that all communication with customers (contract reports, promotional plans, promotional evaluation etc.) is implemented, up to date and communicated.
Ensure that service levels to this channels are within company expectations and that any shortfalls are addressed with the Regional Sale Managers Operations Inland Regions (e.g out of stock, errors in order taking, incorrect invoicing).
