Job Description:
Logistics company seeks a Accountant /Debtors Supervisor with a min of 4 years management experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
Creditors Management (Full function)

Debtors Management (Full function)

Bank Account Management (cashbooks- 2 bank accounts, =ZAR, USD)

Produce and distribute weekly & monthly debtors and creditors report to agreed time scales

Produce required reports for members of the team and Board of Directors within agreed financial closure deadlines

Filing & Record Keeping

Logistics Management

Depreciation Journals

Intercompany Confirmation and balancing

Revaluation (Open foreign Transactions)

SAP Invoicing verification

Balance sheet reconciliations

Income statement reconciliations

Customer reconciliations

Cashbook processing and recons

Journal processing

Detailed analysis on income statement

Cash flow management and preparation of cash flow forecasts

Weekly/monthly financial and management reporting

Preparation and planning of budgets and forecasts

Desired Experience & Qualification
Proven work experience as an Accountant

Hands on experience with accounting software (Pastel Partner/Evolution, etc.)

BCom Degree in Accounting and Finance

CPA Certificate a Plus
