An exciting opportunity exists with an established Private Game Reserve for a Facility Manager.
Oversee the maintenance, upholding and cleaning of the lodges and camps, insuring that all maintenance is attended to and any lists updated. Including water and electricity records
Oversee the food orders, deliveries standard that meals are prepared according to standard
Conduct Housekeeping and Oversee Food stock take at the end of each month
Management of company assets and conducting of stock takes and compilation of asset registers.
Management of staff, staff schedules and staff issues
Assisting in the sourcing, interviewing and recruitment of general and cleaning staff
Processing student profiles and to ensure that all information is correctly handed over to staff for preparation on housekeeping and food as well as Co-ordinator.
Updating room plan according to schedule
Preparation of arrival packs and insuring that all indemnities are filled and signed before students take part in any activities.
Meeting and settling students in to accommodation and familiarizing them with surroundings
Conducting operations to meet set targets and budgets
Insuring that any outstanding accounts are settled before check out/ departure and that all items are returned.
Review scheduled and or requested transfers to insure service is provided adequately
Assisting students with planning of weekend activities.
Ensuring health and safety standards are implemented and uphold including the monitoring of visitors to the property
Management staff and guest, security, grievances and general health and safety.
Assisting and advising on compilation and updating of risk assessments.
Assisting co-ordinators with arranging activities and contacting relevant people.
Host and conduct educational visitors
Responsible to establish and uphold good relationships with all current and new suppliers and service providers.
Carrying out any related duties that might be annexed as result of operational requirements
Responsible for monthly stationery
Conduct required administrative and procurement duties in alignment with operational needs and capabilities.
Hospitality related qualification
1-2 year’s experience in a similar position
Valid driver’s licence and Valid Pr.DP
Valid First Aid certificate (min Level 1) preferable
