Information Analyst
Our client is a specialized global full-service IT consulting & outsourcing solutions provider, focused on creating value for Supply Chain based Industries and Services Industries as a flexible, trusted and sustainable partner.
Information Analyst and Data Modeller with 3-5 years technical experience, the information analyst data modeller is responsible for providing the analysis and design for information solutions to various business areas and the integration into the data warehouse house,this includes the creation of the user requirements into technical specifications and design documents, as well as the possible identification of new data sources to the data firehouse. Meet with business unit representatives to identify, interpret and document review business requirements and needs through interaction in the form of emails or joint application development (jad) sessions based on requests from business. Map the requirements to the best practice model pre-defined solution templates (e.g. ibm banking data firehouse (ibm bdfi)conceptual and logical model and business glossary.
Understand the Data Management Environment.
Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential data issues.
Develop and execute data clean-up measures
Maintain record of Delta corrections
Ensure adherence to data standards
Map and carry out Data Discovery
Analyse, query and manipulate data according to the defined business rules and procedures
Evaluate data sets
Assist technical ETL environment to create ETL rules.
Understand the Data Management Environment.
Ability to lead Data discovery sessions with business community.
Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential issues.
Undertake and Conduct Data Management activities such as (but limited to): Identify, compare, and resolve Data problems.
Develop and execute Data clean-up measures
