Description: A food ingredient manufacturer requires a Mechatronic Engineer to join their team. Key duties will include: design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks; creating mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies or finished products; creating embedded software design programs; analyzing existing development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements; implement or test design solutions; research, select or apply sensors, communication technologies or control devices for motion control, position sensing, pressure sensing or electronic communication; conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic equipment; manufacture and assemble new equipment with manufacturing group; execute reliable electro-mechanical processes.
Key Requirements: B Eng Mechatronics or related degree with at least 5 years’ mechatronic experience. CAD drawing package proficient (specifically AutoCAD and Inventor). Experience with PLC and HMI programming specifically on DELTA and Allen Bradley equipment required. Experience in Internet of Things and designing of equipment essential. Willing to travel.
