Partnering directly with key product vendors in order to offer their customers competitive pricing, valuable advice and expertise, warranty and first line support for applied solutions. This company is looking for 2 x Sales Consultants to join their team. Must have industry experience
A proven track record and experience in B2B sales within the ICT industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Proven track record and experience in Business to Business sales (ICT ideally)
Account management experience
Problem resolution – billing queries etc
Sales Admin – quotes, RFP’s, RFI’s, RFQ’s
Good negotiation skills
Setting up client meetings and presentations
Must know how to negotiate and close deals under pressure and influence at all levels.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Commitment to delighting customers.
Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and work with teams to get results.
Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and customers, and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.
Positive attitude, self-motivated and managed
New Business Development
New Business Development:
Contacting dormant clients on database and reviving them to become active clients
Cold calling new clients and inactive clients and setting up client meetings to present company
Establishing good report with clients building solid relationships ( not a one call sales)
Follow sales cycle to closure
Uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates client needs on an ongoing basis.
Ensure clients are trained and aware of new products
Account planning, forecasting and budgeting
Achieving set targets consistently
Sales Administration including updating CRM, quotes, RFP’s, RFI’s, handing client queries including for example billing queries.
Regular Client visits maintaining positive and solid business relationships based on trust, integrity and service excellence.
Retention of clients
Summary of Experience:
Business to business sales experience - both new business development and account management (question where and some examples of new clients brought on board)
Products / Services sold
Proven track record in achievement of target (question – what was / is your target and what have you achieved)
Sales Administration – experience working on a CRM system (Question - if yes which one)
Account planning including forecasting and budget planning handling client queries and resolving timeously
Experience doing quotes
Experience presenting to clients and conducting face to face client meetings
Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
Package & Remuneration
