HR Generalist and Office Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist and Office Manager with 5 years’ experience working in a consulting firm (NOT NEGOTIABLE). The successful candidate must have worked with clients in different sectors and will be responsible for the full HR function of both company and that of its clients as well as take responsibility for the financial management of the company. A Degree in Human Resource Management
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in SAGE VIP and SAGE One Payroll
Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience within a consulting firm.
CCMA representation to Arbitration stage experience
Experience with bargaining councils and union negotiations
2 years’ experience in using SAGE accounting.
Basic Accounting knowledge
Must be able to take care of retainer clients.
Developing and implementing HR Strategy.
Corresponding with stakeholders and employees on any Human Resource and Industrial Relations matters.
Drafting of employment contracts.
Drafting of job descriptions.
Conducting retrenchment process.
Developing and managing the implementation of performance appraisal system.
Coordinating and facilitating induction of employees.
Manage Employment Equity Strategy and promote equality and diversity as part of organisational culture.
Responsible for EE committee, meetings, and annual reports.
Reviewing and updating of Human Resources Policies and Manuals in line with HR best practice.
Chairing of disciplinary enquiries.
Managing employee grievances.
Facilitating the implementation of employees increase schedules.
Conducting Paterson job grading.
Conducting workplace counselling.
Conducting medical incapacity enquiries.
Managing the internship and learnership programmes.
Development of training (face 2 face and webinars).
Implementing effective Organizational Development strategies after organisational diagnoses has been performed.
Developing of online portals such as HR System and Training Online Portal.
Being the Representative for Dalitso Consulting on Committees.
Implementing effective Organisational Development strategies after organisational diagnoses has been performed.
Responsible for training and development need identification and implementation.
Managing and Maintaining the HR System.
Submitting relevant documentation in line with the relevant deadlines to de Department of Labour and relevant SETA’s.
Management of Recruitment Team:
Overseeing the Recruitment Consultants day to day work.
Managing all incoming Job Specs.
Managing major recruitment accounts.
Monitoring weekly output of the Recruitment Consultants. and
Distributing monthly recruitment dashboards to recruitment agents.
Managing the IT and IT Providers.
Ordering and buying all office essentials, groceries and stationery.
Managing all assets in the organisations.
Attending marketing and networking functions.
Drafting Mailers and Social Media content for distribution.
Establishing and managing the Marketing and Social Media strategy.
Managing Monday morning meetings. and
Updating Friday half day and kitchen roosters. and
Negotiation of Contracts with Clients.
Following up on payments.
Managing company credit card.
Capture bursary payments for release. and
Reconciliation of payments and allocating it to the account.
