Looking for the most interesting move of your career? A reputable client based in Johannesburg is recruiting for a Product Manager to join their team. They specialize in innovating absolutely ANY industry digitally in less time, with less duplication, using modern Agile Technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive client’s product and platform roadmap
Drive client’s technical adoption of the company platform ensuring use of key features and feature updates
Provide technical product support for client’s Solution Roadmap
Drive client’s digital factory setup, ramp up plan and team onboarding
Provide technical product support to Account Managers
Build Demos, POCs for clients
Provide Business and Technical Product Training to clients
Define the product Strategy for each target Industry
Own the company Product Roadmap
Lead, manage and mentor a team of Trainers, Product Managers and Engineers
Support Pre-Sales Engineering activities
Plan and facilitate ongoing client platform health checks
Develop/Improve technical product presentations
Desired Experience & Qualification
BSC Computer Science or BCom Honours Information Systems (Required)
5 years in Enterprise application development and agile delivery (Required)
5 Years in a Pre-sales or sales engineering role (Preferable)
3 years Enterprise Solutions architecture (Preferable)
2 years leading an agile digital team (Required)
3 years in a product management role (Preferable)
2 years in a product training role (Preferable)
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Highly articulate, enthusiastic and polished
Consulting skills and a conversational approach to explore and uncover client’s needs.
Commercially minded and will use their understanding of the client’s business and their knowledge to personalize the recommended solution in line with the clients need.
Is able to demonstrate capability (features, advantages and benefits) and offer unique perspectives and align insights to key client priorities
Has the client’s agenda in mind and can relate offerings to enable the buyer to visualize their need satisfaction, goal achievement and problem resolution.
Communication skills: ability to articulate and communicate compelling business logic
Attention to detail and deliverables
Flexible and mature approach and ability to work unsupervised
Effective presentation and negotiation skills
High degree of professionalism
Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
