Our elite client in the Courier industry is looking for a high level, forward thinking and energetic Business Development Manager. Minimum of 5 years Sales experience in Courier or Road Freight is a must. This person will be expected to reach targets in order to earn off their very lucrative commission structure. They are looking for a highflyer who can hit the ground running from month 1. If you are looking for growth, this is the position for you!
Duties & Responsibilities
Focus on New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying and closing the deal.
Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, Approve rates for types of customers.
Generate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company specific requirements
Analyse clients’ needs and propose various courier solutions accordingly and close the deal
Ensure continuous follow-up by the Sales Team on pending clients
Manage and retain client relationships on all levels and provide a professional service including of after- sales service, client enquiries and regular follow ups.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Knowledge & Experience:
MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably from the Courier Industry
