Legal and Compliance Administrator
Our client is a financial services company that offers commercial property loans to residential entrepreneurs in inner city areas in decline. They are looking for a temp paralegal type who has conveyancing or contract experience for a period of 4 months.
The role is to support the contracting process for approved loans.
This role is a 4 month temp role, with the possibility of going permanent.
Key Performance Areas
- New Loans
Confirm the accuracy of loan data and accurately capture additional information on the database.
Draft loan agreements in line with the approved loan proposal by applying the loan terms and conditions to the standardised loan agreement template
Liaise with clients and schedule appointments to sign loan agreements and bond documents by, explaining and discussing the contents of the documents with the clients and securing signatures.

Develop and maintain a standardised progress report in terms of stipulated requirements.
Maintain a controlled and efficient filing system that provides a comprehensive “audit trail”.
Attend to ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by management as and when required.
Developing templates for standardised agreements and related documents not limited to Development Impact products.

A minimum of an LLB or similar is required
A minimum of 5 years administrative support in a Property Finance or Conveyancing Para-Legal environment is essential
