We're accepting applications for the position of Technical Lead and Product Owner (Incubation Phase). This is a dual function role and will include the functions of an Agile Scrum Product Owner and a Technical Lead who will be working on initiatives in the incubation (early development) phase. This will include defining the technical work that needs to be completed, prioritising work, understanding project delivery expectations and commercially leading the project to the organisation and ultimately the market.

Duties & Responsibilities
Defining the technical work that needs to be completed and prioritising work
Understanding project delivery expectations
Commercially leading the project to the organisation and ultimately the market
Acting as the face of all technical aspects towards the development team
Leading the development and execution of incubation projects
Providing end to end thought leadership on technical development
Providing architecture guidance and setting the general direction of development efforts
Actively guiding Agile teams to deliver their projects
Working with the Scrum master of the Agile development teams to meet deliverables
Defining the product vision and co-ordinating with the Agile team
Defining scope and taking constraints into account
Defining and tracking KPIs
Using data to develop and define user stories
Engaging stakeholders and senior leaders, etc.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric and a 3 year Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a similar field
At least 8 years experience in telecommunications overall, with specific exposure to architecture, systems planning, systems design and development
Demonstrable software and hardware development skills
