To drive skills capacity building within the division and to develop and execute training strategies to
meet with future business demands.
To effectively drive the implementation and embedding of the learning management system, as well
as e-learning within the division to support the company's initiatives and facilitate effective skills learning.
To ensure sound knowledge of and compliance to all applicable legislation in order to provide
support and guidance to key stakeholders including the human resources team and site stakeholder
To ensure that training and development knowledge remains up to date in order to effectively guide
and advise management on appropriate models, trends and interventions to support business needs.
To drive continuous improvement in all aspects of people development to support efficiency, sound
customer relations and service delivery to the company
Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support decision
making for the business.
To provide effective training and development support to the HR team and the entire organisation to
ensure that goals and strategic plans are achieved through effective team work.
To drive relationship management with colleagues, peers, management, and key stakeholders to
ensure that professionalism is maintained and delivery achieved in line with commitments.
To drive the effective and efficient training system administration to ensure accurate, up-to-date
information is available to the business to support decision making through regular audit and
analysis of information captured by sites
Coordinate, monitor and track key development initiatives across SX sites including, but not limited
to, graduate programmes, apprenticeship programmes, and internships, to ensure that sites
effectively manage their implementation and address shortcomings
Relevant Social Science Degree / Diploma
Skills Development Facilitator
Educational Training and Development Practitioner
Engineering / Trade qualification - advantageous
