Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Consumable Stores Supervisor for a leading Manufacturing Company on the edge of the KZN Midlands.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric certificate with Mathematics as a subject.
Proficient in the use of Email.
Good numeric skills.
Computer literate with strong Excel skills.
Knowledge of stock system and procedures.
At least 3 years’ experience working in a supervisory position.
Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Check on hand stock inventory.
Check ordered items and following up on open orders & delivery thereof.
Communicate with manager regarding the placing of orders.
Ensuring that there is enough stock at all times.
Ensuring that stock is ordered at correct lead times.
Ensuring that receiving and issuing of stock is done according to the SOP.
GRVs
Manage monthly stock-take responsibilities.
Managing of subordinates.
Ensure proper stock rotation in all consumable items.
Salary offered: Market related.
