The position is responsible to oversee the effective management and functioning of LISP offshore Operations. This is a core operational management function and the incumbent would be required to manage and control holistically all the operational activities of the invest offshore product space. The
incumbent must ensure that appropriate processes and procedures are designed and implemented, in order to ensure that the team managed are able to conduct all the operational activity effectively and efficiently. The incumbent will also maintain and continuously review the most effective and
efficient structure and team, in order to ensure the delivery of committed services to the Investment Offshore space.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the administration of investment products - Offshore
Review and improve the current business processes by looking at efficiencies and quality output and
prepare the Business Requirements Document (BRD) to implement system enhancements.
Ensure that all regulatory, legislative and governance requirements are adhered to by the Investment
Administration team to ensure compliance through conducting spot checks and analyzing internal
reports/audit findings.
Analyse the key risks, gaps and make recommendations for the improvement of Investment Administration processes
Manage the overall delivery of Investment administration department through continuous monitoring of
the processing quality standard
Formulate action plans and manage the implementation thereof; report on progress in monthly
management meetings
Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders (Client Services, Advisers, and Sales
Support)
Stay abreast of current technology and process enhancement by conducting research (petitor
intelligence, network, and training)
Update continuously the processing documents in line with system or legislative changes.
Action and provide feedback on audit findings
Sign off profit and losses accordance to approval mandate in compliance to the SLA
Desired Experience & Qualification
Essential
• B Comm Qualification
• 5-10 Years of management experience within the LISP environment
• Certificate in Business Administration
• Advanced knowledge of full universe of Compliance and Legislation in respect of LISP offshore investment products
Advantageous
• 3 – 5 years’ Project management experience within the financial services
industry
• 3 – 5 years’ operational development experience in LISP offshore environment
