An exciting career opportunity exists in Somerset West, Cape Town for an Accounts Manager within the IT industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
An Account Manager’s priority is to build trust with their clients. To build trust they must clearly understand each solution on offer and using facts propose solutions that will always benefit the client .
They increase the existing customer base for the company by working hand in hand with their internal sales admin. In this team environment, they are expected to keep their client base happy by providing solutions based on the Company stack.
Key Performance Areas:
Client Account Management
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
Ensure a how to guide is set up for each task.
Attend bi-weekly sales meetings
Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
Support admin and finance department with day to day activities
Oversee Stock Control
Education and Skills:
Matric and relevant experience in Information Technology.
A relevant qualification will be to your advantage.
Interpersonal skills: such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with team members.
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
Sales experience with selling relevant services and products.
Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.
High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
Proficient with general office applications.
Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an account manager.
Any experience working in the IT industry will be to your advantage.
Previous experience with Zoho books and Zoho CRM will be to your advantage.
