New Business Development Consultant
An Electronic Security equipment company based in Johannesburg is looking for a New Business Development Consultant. Minimum of 2 Years B2B Electronics Sales Experience external
Sell the following equipment through security service providers:
Ø Electronic Security Hardware
Ø CCTV, Access Control, Alarm, Gate Automation & Electric Fencing,
Ø Commodity Tier 3 to the channel with upsell possibilities to Tier 2
Ø Create Approach Plan
Ø Call, Email, Visit with post visit emails
Ø Close Door Opener Deals
Ø Manage Delivery Process
Ø Mini- PM of Smaller Deals
Ø Oversee Opportunities
Ø Onboard new active channel clients across Gauteng.
Ø Gather vast amount of relevant information in a short period of time.
Ø Identify opportunities within companies by aligning their business & clients with SCW.
Ø Grow & expand revenue within these accounts.
Ø Hand over account process successfully and efficiently.
Expectations: (Stimulate engagement for sales by presenting SCW matrix to prospects)
Ø Research & profile prospects.
Ø Pre- meeting planning 2 weeks in advance, min 3 meetings per day with post-meeting emails.
Ø Business Conversations with clients & establish buying process, hierarchy, opportunities.
Ø Completed Opportunity Plans (DQT) for larger size opportunities quarterly.
Ø Present SCW Product & Service matrix and VP to all clients, emphases on top brands
Ø Monthly & quarterly targets to be met sales related and meetings.
Ø Daily, weekly, monthly reporting.
Ø In-Field Call Review
Ø Weekly Expectations Review
Ø Weekly Opportunity Review
Ø Fortnightly Pipeline Review
Ø Monthly Account Review
Ø Grade 12 Certificate.
Ø Valid Driver's License.
Ø Preference will be given to N3 Diploma in electronics or better qualification.
Ø Preference will be given to sales diploma or better.
Ø Minimum 2 Years B2B Electronics Sales Experience external, preference will be given to electronic security industry experience.
Ø Able to land large corporate accounts, land and expand revenue within accounts.
Ø Technically minded - Can technically grasp Security Surveillance Equipment and other electronic security products.
Ø Have worked with CRM system or Excel based equivalent process.
Ø Strong Microsoft Office Usage Experience to promote planning and processes.
Ø Dealer Base Management experience & understanding of sales process.
Ø Trader by nature - able to trade responsible with discount structures to maximize sales & profits.
Ø All client visits petrol covered at R2.50p/km.
Ø High Commission structure - GP rand value based
Ø KPA - Expectation Performance based
Ø Full product and solution training provided.
Ø Proven sales process & management tools in place.
Ø Marketing assistance to clients available free of charge - Website, flyers, business cards.
Ø Marketing done to dealer base clients via email and WhatsApp on weekly and monthly basis to promote brands and solutions.
