Put forward product development initiatives that will enhance the product and improve the overall value proposition. With a focus on collaboration within the group as well as a focus on integrating retail as well as health, an actuary with experience in this space will be well positioned to make suggestions to enhance offering in this regard to incorporate both retail and health in our total value proposition, once an understanding is gained of the umbrella fund space.
Key role responsibilities
Assist with developing strategic value adding packages that complement the primary product offering.
Compile data analytics required in making informed product changes.
Responsible for implementing any product enhancements by engaging with all stakeholders.
To obtain competitor information and analyses in a meaningful way to allow the sales team to handle objections to the product accordingly.
Assist in developing the calculators required for various directives (e.g. RSC, EAC, etc.)
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualified Actuary with 2-4 years related experience
Employee Benefits experience (Health & Retail Experience)
Computer literacy in MS Office (word, excel, power point)
Strong analytical skills
Good project management skills
