Job Description:
Top Golf Club in the East Rand is looking for a Stock Controller to place approved orders and receive, inspect, store and maintain all purchases. Stock taking and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures forms part of the daily function of this job. Must come from the area!!!
Duties & Responsibilities
Ordering of inventory and issuing of purchase orders
Negotiate with suppliers, best prices, specials, return policies, etc.
In charge of main cellar and drinks cart operations
Issuing of daily inventory to other stock stores
Processing of internal stock transfers
Making sure all stock transfer are checked and signed off by the recipient
Receive inventory from the supplier and check the inventory against the GRV
Control all stock returns, short delivery, etc.
Ensure the supplier gives the club a credit note or replacement stock
Process GRN on Clubmaster
Responsible for stock take preparation and perform stock counts
Responsible for stock take submission and reconcile stock variances reports
Control issuing and return of stock to the drinks cart
Assist POS operator with terminal/software issues – IT and CM related
Ensure POS operators close off tables and end shift
Supervise POS operators
General administration and filing
Assist the Financial Controller with day to day functions of the club
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12/Matric
Minimum 2 years experience
Qualification would be an advantage
Must live in the area!!!
