Well established concern is seeking to employ a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator with a relevant qualification and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
The CSR Coordinator will also be responsible for all activities relating to the ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities of the Group including, but not limited to, socioeconomic development and nature conservation efforts as well as establishing and managing the Group's Foundation to ensure that the Group has a positive impact on the environment
Duties:
Implementation and administration of the Groups Foundation
Managing of the social responsibility budget in line with the strategic objectives of the Group
Organising fund-raising events to ensure a sustainable income stream to supplement social responsibility efforts
Manage all requests for funding and conduct regular site visits to beneficiaries
Monitoring and evaluation of community social investment projects
Ensure proper due diligence is completed for all new beneficiaries
Organising of teambuilding activities for employees where they get the opportunity to take part in community projects
Responsible for Socio-Economic Development and Enterprise Development elements of the BBBEE scorecard
Working with the Marketing Department to raise public awareness of the Group’s social responsibility efforts
Qualification and Experience:
A degree or other relevant qualification in Humanities / Social Sciences / Development Economics or related field will be advantageous
Minimum two years’ experience, gained in a similar role
Experience in project management and community development will be advantageous
