Our clients in the Northern Suburbs are looking for Professional Nurses.
Registration with the South African Nursing Council.
A grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation.
Experience in the relevant field of nursing advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises and evaluates quality of patient care through patient rounds
Liaises with ward manager on matters relating to patient care
Maintain a safe working environment
Relevant experience in Frail Care & Retirement Homes
Relevant experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s patients
Contribute to the holistic care of patients.
Maintain professional conduct and standards at all times.
Keeps up to date with evolving policies and procedures
Attend & complete handover of report at shift commencement.
Promotes and maintains good working and interpersonal relationships with management, colleagues and doctors
Assists with the coaching of junior staff within the Unit [if required]
Must be prepared to be flexible in working hours / shift work.

Compliance with documentation policy
Ongoing audit of health records to ensure compliance
Ensures all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately
