Dynamic International FMCG company seeks a self motivated, driven Sales Rep. He/she will be accountable for the management of his/her territory in Eastern Cape to achieve the team's volume and share of market targets within the assigned geographical area. PLEASE NOTE that candidates will only be considered if you are a current resident of Eastern Cape.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main areas of responsibility include:
Ability to achieve set targets.
Territory management utilizing trade segmentation process.
Building and maintaining solid trade relationships and high service levels and maximizing growth opportunities in the relevant trade channels.
Achieving specific business objectives and standards as allocated by the relevant line manager, including the implementation of: · Brand and SKU distribution strategy
Sustainable brand and SKU availability
Brand visibility/communication as per Global Merchandising Standards
Collation and reporting of information
Trade marketing programs.
Management of all allocated company assets and utilization of tools of the trade in line with company policies and procedures. Responsible conduct when representing brands in the trade, within corporate governance requirements and legislative restrictions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum requirements for this position include:
Candidate MUST be CURRENTLY residing in Eastern Cape.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Sales Rep.
Matric / Preferably Tertiary Qualification (business-related diploma or degree) or presently studying towards such a qualification.
Experience of working in a team in a business environment.
Previous sales experience in FMCG preferable.
Knowledge of basic marketing / sales principles preferable.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities (persuasive, assertive and a good listener)
The incumbent must further be computer literate, have a valid unendorsed SA driver’s license and be readily available to work outside normal working hours.
