Leading Pharmaceutical manufacturer seeks suitably qualified / experienced Service Expeditor to join their dynamic team.
Purpose of Position:
The role of the Service Expeditor is responsible for the management and execution of all customer orders at the Company’s PE based Warehouse operation
Salary: Negotiable (Including Corporate benefits)
Duties / Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Supervision of P1 staff
Ensuring warehouse space tracker is updated every Monday
Ensuring all documentation and logbooks are completed as per SOP’s
Accountability for administration and filing
Control of picking slips
Manage the sorting and issuing of customer orders based priorities
Ensure back orders are released according to Backorder Report
Liaison with Customer Care and Call Centre ensuring pick slips are generated
Picking and checking of Orders (S5, S6 and Pharma)
Manage and ensure orders printed prior cut off time are picked, checked and handed over to dispatch by 16h00
Monitor Orders to be picked report and ensure that there are no outstanding orders older than 8 hours
Ensure all HFD’s are scanned through for orders on S6’s and specified S5’s.
Picking and Checking productivity
Assisting in checking of picked stock where necessary
Identify a trend and address it with the pickers in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor
Picking and Checking Accuracy
Maintain 100% picking and checking accuracy – Zero customer complaints of short supplies or over supplies.
Review and analyze picking errors, identify what could be the root cause of the picking errors and implement corrective action
Maintain Inventory accuracy of 99.5% of non-narcotics products and 100% accuracy of narcotics products (Stock take)
Ensure that customer complaints are resolved within 48 hours from the time logged with corrective action implemented to ensure no re occurrence
Customer liaison and timeous resolution of related customer queries and demands
Ensure that credits of S6’s are approved by RP on Qdocs
Liaison with Service Provider on deliveries and all documentation process.
Organizing of couriers for special transportation deliveries, including bulk cold chain , liaison with Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager/ Responsible Pharmacist
Assurance of compliant transport/ delivery vehicles as per GDP requirements.
Tracking and checking of all POD’s prior to handover to POD clerk
Conduct self-inspections regularly and address any deviations
Ensure that housekeeping is well maintained and adhered to GWP ,GMP standards
Occupational Health and Safety
OHS is every employee responsibility- ensure that the warehouse and subordinates comply to and adhere to health safety regulations as per OHS Act 1993
Wholesale and Retail distribution NQF Level 2 Qualification
General Management Certificate NQF Level 4 Qualification advantageous
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment non-negotiable
Knowledge of Good Warehouse practices
Excellent team player

Professional, ethical and customer focussed
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) ~ fluent in English
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft packages)
