Compensation,Benefits and compliance officer
International FMCG Company
To assist the Compensation and Benefits Department in the execution of its duties. To conduct research in areas regarding remuneration to enable analysis and prediction of market trends.
Compliance and Reporting
? Download, receive and report monthly on Statutory Statements for all active Companies
? Compile monthly Compliance Reports for all statutory payments and filing for all active Companies
? Complete verification of Statutory Accounts where required
? Assist with all Tax Year End related processes where required
Risk Management for Compensation & Benefits Internationally ? Maintain Legislative Summaries in all Territories ? Work with the Comp & Ben Manager to assess and monitor current practices and processes to ensure compliance with all identified areas, risks and related matters ? Execute full reporting in terms of employee-related tax and other statutory disciplines
Assist with alignment of Compliance & Benefits related practices across Territories ? Drafting employment contracts from current templates ? Updates and amendments to policies where applicable ? Assist with renewal of and enrolling new members on insurances where applicable
Assistance with Project Management ? Assistance with all aspects relating to projects assigned to the department where required ? Administration of projects assigned to the department where required ? Conduct research on matters relating to projects where required
Benefits Administration ? Assist with renewal of and enrolling members on insurances where applicable ? Assist with research relating to Benefits and Insurances where required
3 – 5 years’ experience in Comp & Ben, preferably in a global organisation, dealing with multiple sets of legislative requirements
Strong administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of risk management and the legislative environment
Basic understanding of all Remuneration, Compensation and Benefit governance, preferably within a global context
Ability to deal with multiple competing priorities and balance different tasks
Strong analytical skills
Extremely execution driven
Excellent communication skills
Basic understanding of multi country legislation, tax, salary
build up calculations and models
R20 000 -R25 000 Basic salary + company benefits
