Exceptional Customer Care
Ensure clear communication between customers, agents, and service providers
Movement Planning and Communication with clients, service providers, overseas offices and agents involved
Track & Trace all shipments from dispatch to delivery
Responsible for registering and updating of all orders and files on inhouse system
Communicate Booking Confirmations/Q67/Loading Confirmation to relevant parties
Monitor the collection and receipt of the shipping documents in terms of accuracy and sufficiency of detail and guide your Documentation team accordingly
On-time and Professional liaison with Service Providers and Perishable Industry Bodies
Understand the conditions of letters of credit and perform shipment accordingly
Generate Monthly Reports for Management purposes
Skills Required:
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Team Player with a sense of humour
Ability to prioritise and manage high volume workload
Strong communication skills
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, third Language could be advantageous
Well versed in Excel, Word and Outlook
Deadline orientated
Complete understanding of Incoterms
Experience as an Operations Controller in Freight Forwarding is ESSENTIAL
