Job Description:
We're accepting applications for the position of Account Manager in the ICT/Telecommunications solution selling space. The purpose of this position will be to secure new business from the allocated customer list, to successfully manage the existing customer base, to minimise churn and to maximise revenue. Experience in solution selling and relationship management in the ICT space is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
Securing new business from existing customers
Building and maintaining relationships with the customer base
Selling additional products and services to existing customers
Minimising churn and maximising revenue
Delivering profitable, long term business from existing accounts
Working collaboratively to set up service relationships
Providing input into new propositions, the product mix and services
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric and a 3 year Degree (BComm, Business Science or IT)
At least 3 to 5 years telecommunications/ICT account management experience
Experience in solution sales and dealing with strategic ICT enablers
In-depth understanding of converged and networking technologies
Experience selling mobile, fixed line, data, email, unified communications and managed services related products and services
