Our client operates in a highly competitive market and the overall purpose of the Actuarial Analyst, Pricing role is to ensure business growth and client retention while ensuring profit expectations are achieved. This requires continued engagement with relevant stakeholders and a good understanding of the market space we operate within.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review of theoretical pricing rates and policy wording.
Vulnerable schemes management (existing business)
Pricing and benefit design of large/complex new business opportunities
Assist in implementation of strategic projects.
Assist with technical pricing and produce Queries for other business areas and brokers.
Responsible for ongoing technical development and maintenance of the Quotation system in line with HGR IT strategy including reinsurance treaty changes.
Building and maintenance of pricing models
Results orientated with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to prioritise and make decisions.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Actuarial student with progress in CT exams.
Alternatively, a candidate with a mathematical or statistical Qualification will be considered.
Preferred experience in group risk pricing role otherwise in a life pricing role.
Strong Analytical skills
PC Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
