International Audit Firm is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager based in Cape Town paying up to R35 000 P/M negotiable
The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting the Financial Manager and the other members of the Finance Department in fulfilling their duties and functions.
This is a remote position so it will best suit someone who is able to work independently to ensure deliverables are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
The initial review and approval of consultant timesheets (approximately 200 - 300 per week);
Extracting and editing relevant timesheet reports;
Preparing the weekly timesheet analysis on internal staff;
Maintaining the timesheet system’s functionality (adding/removing employees, adding projects).
Preparing invoices in Xero and extracting the related timesheet reports.
Assisting with the calculation thereof.
Performing the day-to-day bookkeeping of the South African and American companies;
Assisting with the bookkeeping for the outsourced accounting services companies;
Preparing relevant reporting tools for the business and our clients.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A finance degree or equivalent qualification
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Strong administrative and organizational skills;
Ability to work in a team;
Good interpersonal skills;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
3 to 4 years bookkeeping experience;
CIMA qualified will be advantageous;
Strong excel skills
