Job Description:
A global FMCG company is looking to hire a dyanamic and hands on Inventory Control Manager. The main purpose of this position in their fast-paced environment will be to control the movement and administration of all inbound and outbound stock transactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for all inventory related activities of which the Company's inventory is based at the third-party warehousing who also does their distribution; management of systems, processes etc;
Continually review and evaluate logistics and warehousing related systems and processes
Analyst daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
Work closely with 3rd party outbound teams to ensure inventory levels required to meet demand is available for picking.
Ensure adequate warehousing practises (operational and security) are implemented
Deal with relevant supply chain third party suppliers and clearing agents
Responsible for contract negotiations with suppliers
Manage the inbound process to ensure that there are no holdups in clearing the invound inventory stock
Logistics Security System: Implementing process enhancement opportunities incl. new logistics security & reporting procedures
Bonded Warehouse
Desired Experience & Qualification
3-5 years Management experience in a FMCG logistic & Imports
Knowledge of cross border operations
Experience in Road, Air and Sea Freight
SAP, Advanced Excel Skills.
Diploma in Supply Chain Management
Logistics related qualification
Additional qualification in Imports/Exports/Customs/Incoterms
