Support Agent - Ferndale, Johannesburg area
Duties & Responsibilities
A well-established IT Firm (Insurance Industry) is seeking a Support Agent for their offices in Ferndale, Johannesburg. The Support Agent will report to the Help Desk Manager.
Minimum requirements:
MUST HAVE Technical support experience
- Basic T-SQL Querying (Select, Insert, Update and Delete) (1–2 years’ experience)
- Basic understanding of web applications
Experience within a support environment
Fluent in English and proficient in Afrikaans
Good communicator
Will be advantageous to have the following experience:
- SQL Reporting Services
- SQL Integration Services
Working hours: 08h00 – 16h30
Duties will include but is not limited to:
Support users telephonically (Web Application Support)
User contact and communication (telephonic and digital)
Create basic reports in SQL
Level One Support
Database Querying
Training
