Our client based in Mozambique is looking for a Finance Manager to lead and provide strategic direction to the business unit, formulating and implementing clear and | effective strategic, commercial, operational and business growth strategies and plans which drive long-term sustainable value and drive growth within the business unit which is aligned with company Vision, Mission and Values
Duties & Responsibilities
High qualification required as a Chartered Accountant (MZ) qualification or equivalent
Has about 6 years of experience (Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Africa experience key
Knowledge of transfer pricing and withholding tax
Experience managing and dealing with people
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Good communication, presentation skills
A team player, is cooperative
Structured, agile, results oriented, customer focused
Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability
Advanced excel skills
Tax qualification will be advantageous
Ten or more years’ experience in a combination of an operational and financial role in a medium to
large organisation with at least 7 years on a senior/executive/strategic level.
Knowledge of IFRS and relevant statutory requirements, regulations and standards are essential.
Experience in working within an international company with cross boarder operations and exposure
to international tax and organisational structuring.
Proven experience crafting and implementing business and financial strategies, policies, practices
and operating plans ensuring implementation of long-term business strategy and enhanced
