Head of Department: Strategic Stakeholder Management
Key Performance Areas:
Monitor and analyze debates on policy and legislative processes that have an impact on the organization and advise accordingly in order to ensure compliance with the policies and legislation.
Develop an integrated stakeholder management strategy in order to ensure compliance with the company Act.
Develop and implement an integrated stakeholder relationship management strategy that is aligned to the overall strategy of the organization.
Build and maintain strategic relationships.
Establish stakeholder relations forums.
Financial and business management.
Human Capital Management.
A Degree in Public Administration or Business Management / Computer Science/Information Technology/ Commerce or equivalent (NQF Level 8) qualification
A postgraduate Degree in Public Administration or Business Management / Computer Science/Information Technology/ Commerce or equivalent (NQF Level 8) qualification
8+ years’ experience in stakeholder management, public relations/public affairs experience in a government or corporate environment with 5 years’ experience at a senior management level in a Corporate/Public Sector Environment.
Knowledge of the following:
International relations (e.g. trade missions) ICT Industry and Shareholder Interface Cabinet and Parliament, Board, Public Sector including forums
Stakeholder Management, Relationship Management, Political acumen, Policy analysis, Stakeholder Relations.
Government policies and priorities, Diplomatic Relations and Protocol, Governance and Risk Management, Communication and influence.
ICT Environment and legislation.
