Job Description:
Internal Sales Representative for a large manufacturing organisation, based in Pinetown. Up to R120 000 fixed CTC with commission on top
Your position is one of utmost importance as you are the first contact that our customers have with the business and you will be expected to be polite and efficient at all times, even under customer/colleague pressure. Ensure 100% efficiency of Internal Sales Department, for the purpose of maximizing customer service & profitably of service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Timeous and accurate processing of customer orders by email / fax/phone on Syspro.
Timeous and accurate processing of walk-in customer orders.
Timeous and accurate Customer quotations, including cut-to-size (customized) substrate quotes.
Oversee that all orders are processed correctly from the sales team to the factory then to the customers.
Assist in monthly stock takes (Normally start of Friday pm & completed by Saturday pm), UNTIL all variances accounted for.
Advising customers regarding stock availability, explaining product benefits to customers (on the phone and walk-in), assisting Sales representatives with quotations, handling queries on new products, general customer queries.
Pro-Active Internal sales for growth.
Key account focus, relationship building, and growth.
Preparing/Compiling brochures, samples, hand-outs, and other marketing material for Sales Representatives.
Ensure efficiency with company’s invoicing system – currently Syspro.
Set up and regular updating of contact details for customers, email, telephone, fax and postal addresses.
OTC Cash payments management/accounting thereof.
Preparation of Banking and Banking of daily Cash receivables.
Attending training session / national conferences (normally within the borders of South Africa).
Attending Sign Exhibitions / Events / Supplier dinners, when required.
Participating in Team building internal company events from time to time.
Dress code, suitable and of a professional manner expected when dealing with customers and other staff.
Any general duties handed to you by management.
