The incumbent will supervise the activities of the banqueting department to ensure delivery of world-class service to all internal and external customers of the Company, improve the centre’s standards through innovation and creativity. This
position is based in Pretoria and includes weekend and evening work as required
Liaise with the clients to ensure their peace of mind and that all clients’ requirements
are taken care of and total client satisfaction is ensured.
? Plan, organise and supervise daily set-up and running of events according to event
sheet specifications and set standards.
? Ensure that staff members maintain a friendly and efficient service to all customers.
? Control of cashing up of bars and balancing cash float/beverage stock is packed and
locked up in the fridge.
? Ensure front/back of house areas are maintained according to set standards.
? Oversee the set-up of venues for client events to ensure that space, fittings and
fixtures, furniture and lighting are used to create atmosphere conductive to improving
clients’ events and leave brilliant impressions on the minds of all the visitors to the

A national diploma in hospitality management.
