Job Description:
Our client based in Prospecton is looking for a SHEQ Manager at their manufacturing environment. TQM qualification, SAMTRAC or similar. Approx 5 years experience in a manufacturing enviornment. Qualified Auditor in 9001: 2015 as well as ISO 22000 / BRC, Six Sigma Green Belt, FMEA and BRC training. Exposure to City and Guilds Stats
Duties & Responsibilities
Rolling out the Company’s SHEQ Policy and Strategy on site
• Implementation of the Group and Site’s SHEQ Standard Operating Procedures
• Implementation of site-specific SHEQ Systems : BRC
• Conducting SHEQ Training as required from time to time
• Updating scoreboards to record and track SHEQ Indicators
• Reviewing Operational SHEQ Budgets
• Compiling legal compliance reports and ensure compliance to approved reporting standards
• Ensuring that necessary site preparations are conducted during visits by the Department of Labour and Other stakeholders
• Preparing and Coordinating Schedules for Health and Safety meetings as well as provide necessary guidance when required
• Coaching SHEQ personnel to ensure a successful implementation of the health, safety and quality systems
• Conducting Health and Safety Assessments on site
• Promoting overall Health and Safety practices on site through implementation of creative interventions
• Managing all Stakeholders on site on matters related to Health, Safety and Quality.
• Implementation and adherence to customer specific requirements and standards
• Liaison with customers to continuously improve Quality performance
• Driving continuous improvement processes
Desired Experience & Qualification
A Total Quality Management Qualification from a recognised Educational Institution
• SAMTRAC or Similar Qualification
• +/- 5 Years SHEQ Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Qualified as an Auditor in 9001:2015 as well as ISO 22 000 / BRC
• Exposure in City and Guilds Statistics
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• FMEA and BRC Training
