Job Description:
Our client is a Property Company listed on the JSE, with an extensive property portfolio both locally and internationally. They are looking for a Marketing Executive / Manager to manage the entire marketing function within the organisation. This will include the companies own brand and various marketing activities, as well as the marketing of various properties as they become available.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role is best suited to a candidate with commercial property or related experience from a marketing perspective.
The role is full function, and will require the successful candidate to prepare the marketing strategy, manage the marketing budget, and implement the various campaigns etc throughout the financial year.
This is a new role, and the successful candidate will build the marketing team and department as required.
The organisation makes use of various agencies to assist with Digital Marketing, PR, Site Activations etc, but the Marketing Manager or Executive will be responsible for liaising with all these parties, and ensuring they deliver as per their brief.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Marketing Degree or relevant qualification
5+ year's previous Marketing experience in a managerial role in a corporate entity.
Exprience in putting marketing strategies together.
Experience in managing a marketing budget.
Experience with digital media an advantage.
Previous property marketing experience preferred and hugely beneficial.
Experience in the UK property market beneficial, but not essential.
Energetic and resourceful
Able to work independently.
Professional manner and able to engage with individuals on all levels.
Package & Remuneration
The package is market related and negotiable based on experience.
